GeneProof Factor II Prothrombin PCR kit
The kit is designed for the detection of the G20210A station in the gene for prothrombin (factor II) by the real-time PCR method. This method is based on the PCR amplification of a DNA sequence for prothrombin bearing the G20210A mutation and on the hybridization of the amplified sequence with fluorophorm marked probes for the standard G20210G allele and for the mutant A20210A allele of the human II factor gene.
Evaluation: standard homozygote, mutant heterozygote, mutant homozygote.
