GeneProof Neisseria gonorrhoeae PCR kit
The kit is designed for the detection of the genomic DNA in Neisseria gonorrhoeae by the Polymerase Chain Reaction method (PCR). This detection is focused on the multi-copy sequence of the gene encoding bacterial 16S RNA, specific for Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Sensitivity of the PCR detection kit runs in single copies of the gonococcus genomic DNA in a reaction, providing for the maximum sensitivity of the laboratory detection from ones to tens of gonococci in urethal or vaginal swabs. The kit is designed for in vitro diagnostics and provides qualitative detection.
