Project title: myCROBE - Research and development of a fully automated molecular diagnostic process including application diagnostic tools
Registration number: CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/17_106/0012292
Project Goal: The goals of the project are research and development of a fully automated molecular diagnostic process and chemicals for the diagnosis of serious infectious and genetic diseases based on polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The final goals of the research and development will be: a prototype of the "MyCrobe Advanced" device ready for serial production and an utility model: GeneProof non-enzymatic isolation kit.
The project is focused on the diagnosis of infectious and genetic diseases, which are currently carried out mainly manually or semi-automatically with manual operation. The target customer is usually a medium-sized laboratory examining various types of examinations, which until now had to perform each measurement separately, which was laborious and time-consuming. The added value of the new solution is that different types of tests are run in one run, thanks to the adaptation of the kits for automatic operation (including CE IVD certification) and the unification of DNA and RNA isolation into one common diagnostic cycle. The project responds to the needs of automation and universalization of diagnostic procedures.
THIS PROJECT IS CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION FROM THE REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND UNDER THE OPERATIONAL PROGRAM FOR ENTERPRISE AND INNOVATION FOR COMPETITIVENESS UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE.
